Why is Pranayama important?

Pranayama is the practice of breath regulation and is extremely integral and applicable to all facets of our day-to-day life. It's crucial to learn how to harness the power of your breath and to utilize it as a tool to help regulate your emotions, mental well being, and physical body.

All pranayama techniques are extremely effective in cleansing the body of its toxins – mentally, physically, and emotionally It is also highly effective in attaining a deeper meditative practice, whether you’re completely new and just wanting to be more aware of your breath or looking to learn new techniques to integrate into your current practice.​

Pranayama techniques offered:

Energizing – kapalbhati, bhastrika, ujjayi

Calming – bhramari, sheetli, surabhedana, chandrabhedana

Balancing – nadi shodanan, diaphragmatic breathing, full yogic breath

 

Can be taught in a small intimate group setting, or large class.
