Why Oma was created

Ōma was created with the intention of blending eastern traditions with a modern approach. Our founder & facilitator, Anna, spent years acquiring knowledge and experiences from all over the world. She's learned from a multitude of deeply rooted lineages of teachers and mentors, and aims to share as much of their wisdom as possible. At the root of it all, Ōma was built on the foundation of practicing love, gratitude, compassion, and acceptance for all beings, including themselves.

approach

Ōma's goal is to always hold a safe and gentle space for others to move through their own experiences. Whether in a group class, workshop, or private session, you'll always be embraced exactly where you're at. Anna's approach intuitively combines all of the deeply rooted ancient Vedic techniques and knowledge she's acquired to cater towards your individual needs – both physically & energetically.

Off the Mat

When she’s not on her mat, you can find her immersed in nature, backpacking through a new country, scuba diving, dancing at music festivals, and creating stick & poke tattoos. She also enjoys road-tripping, camping, surfing, lounging at the beach, paddle-boarding, and chasing sunsets. She loves spending time with her fiancee or family, or curled up with a good book and chai.
